Related Standard: 1926.451(c)(2)(iv),
1926.451(e)(1), Section 5 (a)(1): Employees are exposed to a fall
hazard by accessing a roof of a building using the boom extension of a rough
terrain forklift truck and the forks/platform. A work platform is made by
using a pallet attached to forks.
Corrective Action: Provide appropriate fall protection for
employees working at elevated levels such as a fall protection system and or
scaffolds. Provide safe access to work levels such as ladders or aerial
lifts. Use equipment for intended purpose according to the manufacturer’s
guidelines. |
