Association Annually Recognizes Safety Excellence

In an effort to place a renewed emphasis on safety, the MCASF Safety Committee has created a program for Contractor Member companies — the Excellence in Safety Awards.

This program, open to all MCASF Contractor Members in good standing, will recognize and reward exemplary safety records. Each January, the Association will collect injury and work hour data from our contractor member companies for the preceding calendar year. The data will be used to calculate incidence rates, which will be the sole determining factor in determining the top ranking company in each category. To ensure impartiality, all calculations will be reviewed by an independent party from outside of the industry.

Awards have been organized into categories based on company hours worked and number of employees. MCASF will announce the first, second and third place winners in each category at the MCASF Annual Banquet. First place winners in each category will receive a MCASF Safety Excellence Award. All participants will receive a certificate along with benchmarking data.
